Could she be pregnant?

We have just gotten a La Mancha doe. No history. She has no adult teeth she has an udder. I tried milking her I got what looks like colostrum. I don't know if she has allready kidded and is drying up or if she is pregnant now. She is very slim and I can't feel any kids in her. I wouldn't think her milk would look like colosrum if she was drying up. But going by her teeth and body size she looks to young to have kidded and weaned kids. Should I wait on milking her? I'd hate for her her dry up totally.
Thanks,
Becky

where did you get her from? a doe that is not in condition (very thin and not well grown) is not a good candidate for the milk stand. get a fecal check done, worm her accordingly, bring her in condition. i would not milk her at all.
only way to know if she is bred is to send in blood to biotracking. use the opportunity to test for cae as well.

Get her tested for CLA and CAE, too. No reason to start with problems.

If she does not have ANY adult teeth, I would be worried about herbeing or been pregnant.

I do know of a lot of goat that gets a utter when they are around babies. A friend of mine has a doe that has never been bred but when the other goats have babies, she bags right up like she is going to nurse kids.

Can you post a picture of her. I also would do a fecal on her.

Also, maybe she's not purebred LaMancha. Could have some sort of mini in her heritage.

CLA? Conjugated linoleic acid, she's bound to have that!
