Grooming Tips?

Amazing G is showing her bottle-baby doelings and a wether in the 4-H fair this summer. They covered proper clipping and hoof trimming at the goat clinic, but not much else. She's the only one in our club with goats, so we're kind of on our own.

We're getting the kids to walk nicely (well, as nicely as a 4 month old kid will .) They seem to think they're being murdered, but it's getting better. G is getting good at remembering to keep the goat between her an the judge, and to switch sides in front of the goat. And she's working awfully hard at setting them up.

I would just hate to see all her hard work be for nothing because we failed to polish, braid, or trim something out of ignorance. Any tips or advice you care to share would be extremely appreciated. Thanks!
