pre purchase testing?

So I made an appt for my 3 goats to do a pre purchase exam on them this coming wed.
Well the goat owners want me to purchase the 2 does, and take them to the vet on my property and if they fail {positive}then I can bring them back, { they said they will not cash the check until the results are in,
The buckling they want him to stay behind a lil longer cause he is on the small side.

So should I bring them home and all the while wait for the results?
I have no other goats here, and I am so excited I would like to get goating!

Do you have this in writing?

If they are local to you pay the farm visit for your vet to go out and draw blood, or simply pay someone you know to go with you who can pull blood. Take a goat person who has goats a long time to do an exam...certainly would mean more than a vet looking them over, listening to their heart and lungs...that is what a health check at the vet covers. You want someone with knowlegeable eyes and hands to go over the goats you are buying

Since you own no other goats you should be able to bring back the goats if there is a problem. Congrats on the new goats even after all this time I am having soo much fun with my new little herd of mini-manchas! Vicki
