Memorial Day Twins (pix)

Well I thought Ariel might go today since she has yuck on her vagina and the boys were trying to get her through the fence when it was their turn to graze but it was Cowgirl's mom who had twins today! I had checked on them and half and hour later I saw out my kitchen window that she was licking something on the ground. So I ran out and made it in time to see the next one born. One doeling black like her pygmy mom and one buckling (oh well) colored like his Nigie dad. They are too cute and I am glad I got to see one of them born.
Of course she had to give birth outside of the shed and in the dirt! So I had my daughter distract her while I grabbed the twins and ran them into the shed.

Here they are not even an hour old:

Congratulations. They are adorable.

I have to agree with crazygoatgal, NEVER seen a ugly baby.

You said that you had to distract the mom to move the babies. Does mom not like you to touch her babies?

She is not very friendly and is on my "to be sold" list. I did not want to have any issues with taking her kids so darn far. She had to give birth as far away from shelter as possible! So my daughter fed her a couple of animal crackers and I took them. She ran whining after me but did nothing. She is letting us touch and handle them but we do that with her right there. No theft involved, lol.
