Oh my goodness! The poor goat - good thing you found her before it was too late. We're still trying to get all the old electric fence wire down on our place. The horses like to yank it off and drag it halfway across the field. It's pretty heavy gauge though, so unlikely to get wrapped around much. What worries me more is the baler twine from round bales that never got picked up by the previous owner. Get that wrapped around a horse's leg when it's muddy and you'd never know until their hoof fell off. We've got most of it up now.
On the other hand, I left a spool of picture hanging wire on the shelf outside the goat pen. Little beggars managed to grab the end and pull it through the mesh into their pen. Looked like a giant spider had gone mad! I'm sure if I'd come out a half hour later, the goats would have wound themselves into a great big knot and would be completely immobile!
