The new Quads
Well, I'm now up to 10 baby goats, and 17 total goats again...
Daisy had her quads today, Miniatures. 3 Doelings and 1 buckling. She had (In order), a black trimmed white runt doeling, a black and white sundgau agouti xtra small runt doeling, a normal sized black and white sundgau doeling, and then finally the normal sized black and white sundgau agouti buckling! I only had to help her with the buckling, whose front legs got stuck on the cervix and he was attempting to come head first, but I popped the legs forward and he was easy after that. The xtra small runt is literally TINY. She had to be tube fed at first, but is gaining strength! The three doelings were pulled to be bottle babies, while the buckling is staying with mom. I'm so excited... he's the buckling I"ve been waiting for, for 3 years now!
You can read more about them and see pictures of them on my BLOG.
And it doesn't look like I'm quite done... My FF French Alpine doe that was due on the 22nd is in the process of loosing her ligaments and her udder is tight... Looks like I get NO sleep tonight! yippie!
