goat hay?

We are getting ready to start raising meat goats and we were wanting to know what kind of hay they like the best or that is best for them. We have a couple of fields that we are going to replant and want to know best combination. Thanks for any advice.

It depends on what you have in your part of the country. Here, in SE Nebraska, I feed what I have - Native Prairie hay. It's a mixture of Red Top, Bluegrass, Brome, some clovers and a few wild flowers mixed in. They love it and thrive on it.
