Newbie here - Does anyone feed...

Newbie Dairy Goat owner

Does anyone feed Big V Diary Goat Ration?

Our Diary goats are currently on a 16% horse sweet feed. The previous owner fed them this feed - it's fairly balanced but we can't get that brand here and we'd really prefer to put them on a goat feed so we've been looking around and our feed store can order this feed for us. They also said that Purina is coming out with a non-medicated Dairy goat ration...I've sworn off Purina and vowed to never feed any Purina product again so that is not an option for us.

If you don't feed Big V then what do you think about the analysis:
Crude Protein, min 16%
Crude Fat 4%
Crude Fiber, max 7%
Calcium, min .65%
Calcium, max 1.15%
Phosphorus, min .45%
Salt min .30%
Salt max .80%
Copper min 40.0ppm
Selenium min .40 ppm
Vitamin A min 4,000 IU/LB
Vitamin D min 1,500 IU/LB

They (the goats) have free choice Alfalfa and plenty of browse.

Thanks!!
