Albon discontinued...

I just read that Albon has been discontinued. It was a thread on one of the egroups that I am but several people have checked into this and it is true, Albon and it's generic have been taken off the shelf so to speak so if you need some, stock up now. I read that there a few suppliers left who have some.

its not true, called our pfizer rep today (i work at a vet).

The latest thread on the egroup that reported this was that it isn't working on some cases for cocidia and there have been reports of side effects. Several people are talking about this so I don't think they made it up. It is a reputable list, not full of people who just report things falsely either.

there might be some products in the albon group discontinued, but not all of them. di-methox is the same sulfa and can be used instead. no reason to panic over this
