Doe has not passed placenta

Doe kids last night...as of this AM she has not completely passed placenta...its hang in a long rope out of her about six feet long. Should I be concerned?

Tie it up.Try milking to stimulate contractions rub her belly in front of her udder and see if that helps if not Id call the vet and get some oxy shots for her.

I ditto that. Just be careful when you tie it up that you do not pull it out. Are you sure she doesn't have more in there?

With my doe, when I "bumped" her to check for more babies, it bumped her placenta out.

My last doe that kidded did the same. She went 48 hrs with it hanging. Vet said to start antibiotics and gently pull every day (I know not good advice and I didn't pull). I did do antibiotics to prevent infection-she had a traumatic labor anyway and I went in. The next day it came out on it's own.

I toss my arms around the goats middle, belly area, and lift till her back legs are no longer touching the ground and hold her there. That usually does the trick!
