Goats kidding

I have two goats ready to go. Today is day 150 for one, & the other has lost her tendons, been making nests and staring for three days. Then every night she starts in moaning & groaning until about midnight, panting and looks like it could be any minute, then she settles down & sleeps soundly. I want her to have them NOW. I need a good nights sleep. She is taking it all in stride but I am getting CRANKY. We won't leave the place until they are done (lost a kid that way last year) but this is getting really old.

Try squeezing. LOL Just joking.

I had a doe without a due date this spring. You think your wait was long. Yicks! I thought she was going to pop for a month. LOL

The one with no tendons and making nests sounds like she could go anytime. Hang in there. It will happen.

I had 1 go on day 154 this year, & I know the feeling of having no sleep. Makes me very nervous & anxious also. Have either lost the mucus plug or goo coming out yet? Pretty soon for your sake I hope. We always try to have at least 1 of us here when someone's close to kidding too. Pretty bad when our goats dictate our schedules isn't it?
