DGS miling

Ok I am going to make this fast. I have lost 2 posts, hmmm how do I lose them LOL Anyway DD1 was going to milk ( we are drying the 2 Mini Nubian Does up after a year). We lost Betty earlier this year and bought Dyna to find the Dyna had rebred so we had to dry her up. We are getting 2 full sized does nest weekend and 2 more Mini Nubians the end of May or beginning of June. (to keep up with house milk and soap orders) Well DD1 went to milk Shoofly and DGS said NO NO ME MILK, she thought this would be cute and did take camera out, turned around to grab camera and he was milking!! Couldn't find the cord to the computer (moved into new mobile home, but DD! took them to be developed and then scanned them in, however DD2 didn't scan him the one next to the milk stand so you see how little he. GGramma was soo proud of him. DGS will be 3 in OCT!! Just had to share. Carolyn

It looks like he's an old pro. Getting milk in the bucket and everything. That is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

I have always watched my grandboys until they go to school, really hate the idea of daycare. My, will be 3 in July grandson Jace, puts does up on the milkstand, locks their heads in and puts on inflations, and sprays udders afterwards. Course his favorite job is playing with the babies on their little tykes playground When the last doeling was born and he came out to help with chores and saw CC in the 'was empty' kid pen, he put his hands on his hips and said..."more babies"!!! Yep exactly how I felt No place better for kids than the dairy barn! Vicki

Oh that is so cute - I better not let my 4 yr old see it, she wants to milk in the worst way, but she is anything but gentle, and doesn't follow instructions.
