Kids learning to milk

I wanted to share this picture of my 8 yo son milking one of our first fresheners. He helped me out with chores when my daughters all went to visit my parents for a week, and he's getting to be quite the professional goat milker.

We're bottle-feeding four of our seven "keeper" doelings. Here they are this morning, waiting to be fed.


They're all my favorites, but his one might be the nicest doe kid of the bunch- it's hard to say!

I REALLY like that photo of your son milking the ff. Thanks for sharing that with us. He looks like he is enjoying his job, too. It just brings a big smile to my face.

I like your set-up. It looks very refreshing and peaceful! :-)
I've noticed our children enjoy the satisfaction of knowing how to milk a goat!
