I too LOVE all the different colors. I honestly don't have a favorite nubian color.. but.. as much as I hate to admit it (when I've got some pretty wildly spotted gals in the herd)...my favorite is a nice solid brown.. LOL... I did just add two new girls.. BROWN ones of course LOL
this is Shelly ( Amberwood Thor’s Sheleen )

a big thank you to Joan Coolidge for entrusting these doe into my herd. I'm excited to see how they mix with my guys.

LOL.. well, I know at least one doe & a couple bucklings will fit hehehe.. Calliope is in the group shot (she's behind the black yearling doe) Her head is down, all you can see if her frosted neck & shoulder LOL. She was too busy munching to care about the camera.

Oh, he's beautiful! I love his color. Should be interesting to see what combinations you get when you breed him to all those colorful girls you've got. I've been addicted to goats for a long time, but Heaven help me it's even worse with the Nubians!!

Great pictures, of both the goats and the scenery. The Ozarks are one of my favorite places in the world.

thank you all for the compliments.. I'll pass them on to the girls. It is really green out there this year. The past several years it's been dry, dry & drier here. It started to rain late fall & has just continued. Record breaking wet. Even as tired as we all got of the mud... the green, green grass more then makes up for the misery... We live on top of a hill with a great view... The Ozarks are simply breath taking this year. (we are transplanted Okies.. when the chance to move anywhere in the country happened. I **KNEW** it was the Ozarks that whispered to my soul)
