i would give banamine ASAP to lower his temp...hopefully someone else will help you more, but high temp usually means infection of some sort so an antibiotic would be in line...can you elaborate on not feeling good?

got hold of out wonderful country vet, who just lives right up the road.
He came right over...said it sure sounded like pneumonia and gave the poor boy a big shot of nu-flor. Sudden, sudden onset. This little guy was runnin' and jumpin' and playing until like noon, then BOOM--sick.
Now we wait. He will either start getting better tonite or go all the way downhill.

I lost a young wether to listeriosis. It started with a temp of 106.5.

What else does he eat?

Hes almost back 100%. Now he's got the poops from the antibiotic. I looked up listerosis, and he had none of the symptoms. They are on nice green spring pasture(almost summer, supposed to hit close to 100 degrees this week :O)No more hay. Hes out there munching away with the rest of the kids.

That's good news. Be sure he gets some probios or yogurt to repopulate his gut after the antibiotics.

In a pinch you can use regular 325 mg asprin to reduce fever too.
