Help Please!Sick Goat

We have a four month old Nubian doeling who has something wrong with her. Her temp is fine, but she seems unsteady on her feet, back kind of hunched, head hanging, ears drooping and kind of grunting. She does not look or feel distended, she has no diarreaha.

Her sister is fine and still bouncing around like normal. There has been no change in food, water,no traveling no change in living conditions or place.

They get plain grass hay, alfalfa pellets, and a couple of handfuls of whole oats mixed in with their alfalfa.

She is not pregnant.

We gave her baking soda, oil, molasses and a little bit of yogurt because we don't have any probios.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with our girl and what else we can do to help.

Unfortunalty its Sunday and there are no vets open today.

The only thing I have found that matches most of her symptoms is Ketosis, but can they even get that at 4 months?

edited add: that she almost acts like she can't see.

Have you looked at the symptoms for meningeal worm?

Could she have gotten thumped really hard by another goat?

not being able to see is a polio symptom!
If it's not it the treatment won't hurt her. I'd keep up the yogert instead of probios, it has lots more good stuff in it. If she's not eating it's best for her.
make sure she's drinking..coolaid in the water helps them find it if she can't see. good luck. hopfully you caught it in time

If you have Banamine, give that to her along with the thiamin. It helps reduce the swelling in her brain.

Sorry you lost the doe kid.
I was going to ask her temperature.
We had a doe kid that got 'pnemonia' at 4 months with her first heat cycle. She had a high temp, we gave her the LA200 and she improved. (she did not have nose goo or cough or anything, just pitiful and poofy and stayed under feeder, we let it go for one day, and started her with the LA next day, she was better in one day.)
