ohhhhh... Eric looks great. His brother has ended up being Hob-a-goblin (we call him Hobbs)... I'm looking forward to seeing what he produces with my girls. I've also added a very handsome blue buckling (from Joan Coolidge of Amberwood) will have to take some pics. think he's going to be named Amberwoods Falak OOGIE BOOGIE ...
All of your kids are looking good.. who are all the *black ladies* out of?

Oh here's Hobbs (that's Amelia Starshine peeking out from the baby pen LOL)

And this is the reason they are not out in the yard helping trim my weeds and lawn like they usually are.

This large cherry was blown down in the last thunderstorm we had. Today is reserved for cutting up and stacking all the usable wood and burning the branches. My brother the woodworker wanted to use some of the tree as lumber....unfortunately the reason it blew down is that it is hollow.
I've been having nightmares about my herd getting out and into this huge wilted cherry tree......so getting it burnt will be a relief.

Emily, one of the goats in the second photo, (younger kids) the second one from the right with the frosted ears is just too darling, if I was closer it would go in my pocket be it doe or buck. Just beautifull.

Hobbs has the exact same face as Eric.
All the black ladies except for the ones in the younger kid pen, are sired by Tuxedo. He put his color on all but three of his kids this year. Black, black, black......good thing its my favorite Nubian color, huh?? But since Eric and Camaro are both red, I am sure I will be getting some of that back in the herd this coming kidding season.
Oh, and the two black ones in the younger kid pen(Juniper Berry and Thyme) are Tuxedo grandaughters, sired by Falak.

Oh that is Amberwood Triumph's Camaro......he is going to sire some nice milkers for me I do believe. His dam gives two gallons a day....I am excited about him. He is extremely laid back and sweet. Very gentle natured.

I WANT! I've wanted a black doe for so long! And now you torture me with their beauty! It's not fair! LOL.

But they are all just beautiful! Congrats on having such fantastic looking babies.

Thanks all......they are doing very well and I'm quite pleased with the kids from this year.
The cherry tree is completely cut and the branches and leaves all burnt. I can rest easier now.
I finally got names attched to all the keeper doelings. Had so much fun with them this year.

Escapades doelings are Ozark Jewels Shenanigan and Ozark Jewels High Jinks.

Larks doeling is Ozark Jewels Tux's Narwain(Elvish for "January").

Mulberry's doeling is Ozark Jewels Halle Berry(thanks to ideas from this forum).

Chinook's doeling is Ozark Jewels Winter Ice Storm(due to being born in one).

Many Name's doeling is Ozark Jewels Many Troubles.

Bon-Bon's doeling is Ozark Jewels Drama Queen.

Peppercorn's doelings are Ozark Jewels Juniper Berry and Ozark Jewels Thyme.

Boer keeper doelings are:

Ozark Jewels Cherry Cola
Ozark Jewels Rainy Shamrock
And one LaBoer doeling not named yet.

Now I need to just start calling them all by name!
