New addition in poor condition

A lady I know "saved" 4 Nubian bottle babies from being eaten. She then proceeded to feed them at one month old 40 oz of milk replacer twice a day! She would not switch over to whole cow's milk but I got her to cut down to 20 oz twice a day. But not before one died of bloat/entero. Anyway at 8 weeks old she cut them off and had them on nothing but hay, not great quality either. I had been trying to find buyers for them with no luck. Since I was selling my barren doe I said if they did not have any other goats this lady would throw in a Nubian boy for an extra $25. Took my doe to her place Saturday and the people were a no-show. I saw this last boy and he looks starved, still has is cord at 10 weeks old, I can see the band and fit 2 more above it, feel all the bones in his little body. He is so darn tiny. I used the weight tape and it says 37 pounds but he does not look it to me. So of course I take him home! I have been treating him like they do starved dogs, lots of small meals per day, got him back on the bottle of whole cow's milk. I have been putting alcohol on his cord to try to dry it up like I did on my human kids.
I do not want to overwhelm him but hitting him with too much too soon, food or meds. I did give him CD&T the first day and I want to start him on Corid. They only sell it for cows and I want to put it in his bottle since he does not drink that much water. It is a large bottle of liquid it says 9.6% Oral solution. For the 5 day treatment for cows it says 10 mg per 2.2 lb of body weight. It also says there are 96 mg of amprolium per 1 ml of solution. So what dose do I give him for the 5 days? Or should it be for 10 days?
His poo is not clumpy but I want to do this first then worm him later. I also do have vitamin pellets but like I said not too much too soon. He is a sweetie and I want him to do well.
I did manage to sell my girl and my 5 month old wether. They already paid by paypal, yippee.

He is a cutie, even his face looks tiny:

I guess we are now limited to 2 pictures and/or smilies.

Here is another of me trying to get a good one that shows his bones sticking out. His hips and spine are pretty pronounced but his coloring makes it hard to see in pictures:

Corrid is once a day every day for five days. Repeat every 21 days.

There is an article on dairygoatinfo.com about how to dose.

Please go read the whole article.

I think you are doing good. I have seen kids in way worse shape that owners thought were great. You're on the right path. Read Rose's link and take it's advice and use a good wormer, looks like he will be fine.

Here's a link to a better explanation of corid use.
