Newbie question

I am almost 100% sure that my two does are pregnant. They have never birth before and I am seeing a bag grow and their udders are really starting to hang down... So I figure they are getting milk or getting ready. the other thing I have noticed is right above their tail, they are getting ditches on both sides of their tail bone area... is that the ligaments that everyone talks about getting soft or going away? also, when they do birth, do I have to do something to the cord other than dip it? Does the mom take care of it or does it seperate from the after birth itself?Do I have to cut it???? thanks for any info....

Some people cut it, some tear it, some leave it and tear on it's own. When my babies came they tore on their own. I think if it's longer than 2 inches you can cut/tear it so that it is 2 inches long. This website along with this forum helped me out the most...
