I wish they had showed pictures. My younger goat was out of 4 babies born and I thought that was something.

The one that had the 6 was not nigerian. I forgot which for sure but I am thinking nubian.

Goat surprises owner by giving birth to quintuplets - Goats

The above photo is from the Tennessee Co-operator, a local paper put out once a month by the co-op. Not the same goats as the op, but 5 kids born to a Kiko doe.

Wow, and those are all good sized kids! When my Mini doe had quads she had a runt that was about the size of a guinea pig when born, the other three normal sized.

One of our friends had quints year before last. One died. We had quads this year and I was surprised. All 4 grew well and we're keeping the doe kid as she is so nice, conformation-wise.

The borrowed doe I'm milking was one of quads, and she's an Alpine. One of my Kinder does had quads, also, and several Kinders have had seven that all lived (with a few bottles to supplement mom).
