Interested in Milk goats,Midland Tx?

Im hoping to find someone to help me get started with milk goats. I really only need advice first...Im waiting to be ready for them. I still have a lot to learn. I only want 2, just to supply our family's need. I have been looking for Nubians. I would love to know other good milk goat options. This area is heavily a Boer Goat or Spanish "bbq" goats Area!

Thanks
Donna

Hi Donna, tons of gals on my forum dairygoatinfo.com around your area. Come visit, I don't have any milkers left for sale, and we just sold out another herd that belonged to a cheese maker. Do let us help you find your goats and answer your questions with us being local, we have different problems in our area with worms and parasties than those up north do. Also having had goats in Texas for 22 years I can also help you on who to buy from and what bloodlines will give you animals that sell well in our area, since you will have kids for sale. Nubians are of course king in Texas, and milk sales are brisk...you are right to start out with excellent information first and then purchase. Vicki
