How much per doe?

My girls are in the last month of pregnancy, and I was told to give grain and alfalfa the last month. I have alfalfa pellets, but how much per doe do I give?

You really should be giving alfalfa pellets all the time. Calcium stores are built over time. Normal rule of thumb is 3 pounds per day per doe. I'd probably give more in your situation, since they haven't been getting them on a regular basis.

Start the does on just a little handful of grain and slowly build them up, before they kid, to what you will feed as their milking ration.
