goats and playful pups?

OK - My yellow lab is soooo playful and thinks he's found a new best friend in my 3 week old wether... He chases him around like crazy! He'll chase him all the way around the barn and back to mom and when he goes by mom, she butts him. Today, I put him in to give the goats a break, but the goats seemed to be looking for him (even mom). Do goats like playing with a crazy pup, or is he going to drive them nuts? Should I keep him in when they are out so they can have peace or let them play?

Our German Shepherd BoBo, who died tragically 2.5 weeks ago, LOVED to play with baby goats. I would try to keep him from chasing them...they all became friends. Now that he is gone, I noticed that they play and run more out in the open instead of always looking for higher ground to be safe from BoBo. Not that he was going to hurt them but I think he did drive them a little crazy... I would recommend moderation. Let them play just a little...then let them be alone too. They may have been looking for him just because he puts them on guard. All my critters are more relaxed now...BoBo just loved everyone so much and just wanted to play, play play! That is how he died...playing with the horses.
