He sure is a pretty one!!! I think it's the "peacock syndrome" that makes the boys prettier than the girls...boys gotta attract the gals, gals gotta guard the nest and not stand out. Congratulations!

I have an Oreo colored doe that has always had drop-dead gorgeous bucks. I know without looking they're bucks! Her does are always very ordinary looking (color-wise).

I love the spots!

I keep hoping to get this one nubian doe here of mine bred, hoping she will throw some spots. Not sure how that works genetically, if it's the buck or doe (or either) that determine it. She's just mostly grey agouti with brown on her legs, and a bit on the face. A very UNspectacular colour.

Do you think there's any hope for my doe to throw spots? Should I breed her to a particular coloured buck to get some, do you think?
