Instead of teat tape?

Is there anything else I can use?

Alana's baby is consistently drinking from one teat and even though I'm milking her out twice a day, she is getting very lopsided. She's only a week old, so she's not ready to separate at night. I've never seen teat tape at the feed/TSC/Coop stores, so I'd have to order it.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Paper or cloth tape works for me.

I've had better luck with a bandaid than with teat tape. I put a dab of Thumz on it.

On my cattle I spray "Yuck spray" on the teats. It's a nasty tasting substance that stops dogs from chewing on whatever...sure works for me...

Bandaids we have - I'll give that a try. What is "Thumz"?

I'd kind of like to be able to drink the milk myself!

The poster original thread didn't say that they (humans) were drinking the milk, the kid is, she only stated that she's milking the lopsided half of the utter to relieve the pressure.....If the family is drinking the milk than what fool would spray the "yuck" on the teats, and why care that it's lopsided if you are drinking the milk then you must be milking twice a day. You get one half and the kid gets the other. I'm sure you fine ladies or gents are just having some fun with me, huh.
