Please tell me SULMET dosage?

I did have Albon from vet last year, just gave into the mouth. I would like to do the same with the Sulmet I got at the feed store, but directions are for putting in the water. I would rather put it into their mouth to be sure they get it. Can you pretty please tell me how much to give. (I prefer advice from goat folks rather than goat 'vets')
Thanks.
J.

Here what it said for sulmet

Quote:
Straight from the bottle; do not mix with water.

Dose:

Give Orally - Administer straight into the mouth using a syringe (remove the needle). Do not just add it to the kid's water because you will not know if he receives the correct dose. Do not add it to his milk because the milk effects the potency of the drug.

Five day treatment- you must treat the full five days.
Day one: 1 ml per 5 pounds- given orally.
Days 2-5: 1 ml per 10 pounds- given orally.

Note: I would sweeten this drench a little Stevia to make it a bit more pleasant to take for the kids (a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down...)

Thanks you SO much! I forgot they had the directions for the other stuff too, so it is SAME dose as the albon, but a different drug. cool, hope it works well enough.

I write down the dosage and tape it to the bottle so I have it next time I need it. Foys Pidgon Supply has the Albon in a quart.

I really felt like a dork after being reminded of the fiasco site. I distinctly remember finding this same answer for someone else that had a cocci treatment question and I went to that same site.
Wierd how it is easy to help others when they have questions, but when I have a question, I just think of asking here. Lol.
thanks.

I added a bit of table sugar to the dose. That seemed to help the medicine go down without a lot of gagging and fighting.
