We have a goat now :)

She's a Nigerian Dwarf goat, just taken from her kid, so I milked her this morning, though she'd never been milked before and tried to lay down on me several times. Its going to take some practice for sure. and wow, after milking a cow, such tiny little teats!!!

here's a picture of her... MIA

Congratulations on your new goat - now you need another one to keep her company! Seriously, goats don't like being alone.

I hear you on the tiny teats - probably why I ended up with full-size goats for milk. I still have my Nigies, though. The newborn kids are just sooo adorable.

I know, I can see Andrew lovin' on her and I'm sure she is likeing all the attention, but each time a goat leaves, I miss them for a few days and now that kidding season is over around here, I don't even have the new babies to look forward to.
