HELP!!! Quick! please read!!
Hey, I need help fast! Something happened and my 1 month old Lamancha, togg and saanen buck, Mocha, is lying stiff like and I have no idea what happened! I don't know if he got too cold or not, he is lying on the floor in some towels in front of my wood stove so he will warm up if that is the case. I tried to feed him some milk and he got it down but he isn't doing much except groan every once in a while, does anyone know what is wrong? I really need help! he was fine this morning!
Here is a picture:
Thank you for looking, please help me if you can...
-Rebecca
P.S the pic was before I wrapped him in towels...

I dont know much about goats, but when a puppy or foal is like that off hand its sometimes caused by sugar drops, I dont know how relevent it is to goats but I dont see why rubbing some kayro syup in his mouth would hurt.
I dont know about the temp you are in but if he did get cold put a heating pad underneith and flip him over every few min. I just seen where you lived and I can imagine its still cold up there. I hope some one else can offer better advice than what I have but its all I have.

Rub and bend his legs to encourage circulation too.

How is his stomach, is it hard? Do you hear any rumen sounds if you rub it?

If it is cocci like deafgoatlady says then here is what was on the Fias website..
TREATMENT (after you see signs of disease)
If the kid is effected, don't waste time- treat them ASAP. Use either one of the chemical drugs listed below.I also recommend adding Immune Support Tincture to the medicine. Not only may it help the kids' systems fight the disease, it also make the medicine taste better. If any or our kids under 10 months gets runny diarrhea, we treat him for Coccidiosis/Worms as stated above.
NOTE: If you do not see improvement with whatever chemical treatment you are using in three days (you should see an improvement sooner than this), what you are using is not helping, and is not going to work, and you may consider switching to something else.
My first "chemical" choice for prevention is:
Sulfadimethoxine Brand Names:
* Albon Concentrated Solution 12.5%
* Albon Soluble Powder 107 gm pkg
* Di-Methoox Concentrated Solution 12.5%
* Di-Methoox Soluble Powder 107 gm pkg
* Concentrated Solution 12.5% - Straight from the bottle; do not mix with water. Administer/Drench directly into mouth
* Soluble Powder mixed as follows: dissolve one package (107 gms) in three cups of water. Keep refrigerated. Administer/Drench directly into mouth
Dose:Give Orally - Administer straight into the mouth using a syringe (remove the needle). Do not just add it to the kid's water because you will not know if he receives the correct dose. Do not add it to his milk because the milk effects the potency of the drug.Five day treatment- you must treat the full five days. (we have begun experimenting with only treating three days for the prevention treatment.)
Day one: 1 ml per 5 pounds- given orally.
Days 2-5: 1 ml per 10 pounds- given orally.
Note: We sweeten the drench with a little Stevia; our kids no longer stand around gagging after their treatment and some even seem to like it. (a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down...)
My second "chemical" choice is:
Sodium Sulfamethazine brands:
Sulmet Drinking Water Solution 12.5%
Straight from the bottle; do not mix with water.
Dose:Give Orally - Administer straight into the mouth using a syringe (remove the needle). Do not just add it to the kid's water because you will not know if he receives the correct dose. Do not add it to his milk because the milk effects the potency of the drug.Five day treatment- you must treat the full five days.
Day one: 1 ml per 5 pounds- given orally.
Days 2-5: 1 ml per 10 pounds- given orally.
Note: I would sweeten this drench a little Stevia to make it a bit more pleasant to take for the kids (a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down...)
Corid - I do not recommend using Corid. I have not found it to be effective.

If u use Albon. U have to use 15 cc. Yes it is big doses. It just strong and it need kill the coccidia. Give him plenty of fuilds. I find that albon works really good for me. Yes I use 15 cc for 5 days. The goats seem like it better than sulmet. Sulmet is like gross for them.. Like what Minnelson posted. It is right thing do to ..

My guess would be enthro and you would need to use c,d antitoxin orally and sub q but it may be too late. Dose would be 10cc orally followed by 10cc sub q.

can Marquis be used on goats? I know its twice as effective as albon in dogs and works even faster, however due to that it is a harsher drug.
I also would reccoment probotics to be used with it if this is something that can be used, Im not aware of any reason why but Im not a goat expert either.

Okay, Update!
I gave him a hot bath and I have been feeding him milk and that concoction Minelson recommended. I contacted the people I got Mocha from and she told me he may have pneumonia, because the weather freaked and now we have like 3 inches of slushy snow, most the snow was all gone just yesterday! so yes it is colder, but he was fine this morning! I don't understand it...I did put a collar on him this morning but when I found him I checked and it was loose not tight enough to hurt him, I took it off now. I was thinking maybe the four other baby goats with him in the pen may have trampled over him...so I have the two other small babies in the house in a playpen.
Thank you all for the advice, most that stuff I don't have...and I don't have anyone who can take me to town to get it at the moment...but thanks, I welcome anymore advice.
Oh, and I have been giving him some baking soda as well.

oh, one more thing, whenever I try to lift his head up he starts flailing his front legs all over and lets out a lot of 'baaa's'...I almost wonder if something is broken, I felt his neck and all over and nothing feels broken or anything...I don't know if I am prolonging his suffering or helping...

I wouldn't give up yet....You will know in your heart when enough is enough. I wonder if he got hit in the neck area and maybe a pinched nerve that causes him pain when you move his head??? Just a thought. Do you have any banamine?

So is he any better from warming him up and giving him the molasses? Can you get to a vet? Does he seem dehydrated at all?

Did his mother get her CD&T shots?
He's probably just reacting to being moved. Do you have any yogurt or probiotics? I don't think I would give him any more baking soda.
