Help! Newborn with scours!

The little doeling was born yesterday at 11:30 a.m. She's been nursing, belly seems full, alert & up & moving around! But she has scours, it's the orange color. The doe was wormed a few days ago with ivermectin, & I gave her molasses water yesterday after kidding, is it possible I put too much molasses. The doe is eating & everything with her stool seems fine. Was going to worm her again today since your suppose to after kidding but don't know if maybe I should wait. Maybe I just worry too much, what do you all think?

if its just runny and she is that young I wouldn't worry at this point. in my experience it takes a few days for their system to get it figured out. all of mine have sloppy poo the first few days right after the meconium. make sure it doesn't get stuck to her bottom and block the rest!

She sounds like a fine kid. They dont have formed marbles for quite sometime.
The orange is the change from the newborn black poo to the milk poo.
The black poo is like tar. The milk poo is soft.

Yeah it does seem soft & sticky(not that I'm out there playing with it, but had to clean her up a bit as the momma didn't & had some stuck to her leg). Maybe it is normal then, I just don't remember any of the other kids this year or past having poo like this but maybe Mom was better at keeping them cleaned.
Yesterday this doe didn't hardly want to stop licking her all over & today it's like the baby is no big deal. I'll just keep a close eye on them & try not to worry! ( I tend to worry about everything!!)

What you described is what I had read is normal...but when Gretta had the twins I never saw the the yellow/orange stuff or the tar so I guess she was just really good at cleaning them up fast!
