Can humans consume the expressed milk? I think I remember 10 days but my mind is mush any more. Please help a very tired and over worked mother remember. Thank you

It will sometimes take a week to ten days for it to taste good. You can actually start drinking it after about 3 days when colostrum is no longer there, but it may not taste good for a longer period. It really depends on the goat.

We try it after 5 days and if it is still nasty we give it a couple more. Colostrum won't hurt you, it's just nasty. You also have to keep in mind what you wormed her with after kidding and if there is a with hold time.
