Our newest Baby

Our newest Baby - Goats

It's a girl! No bucks here this year yet!! 1 more doe to go this coming week.
This one here I think is just beautiful though, but they are all cute! She's Mostly Black & brown with a little white on the ears & the white spot on her head, and Blue eyes! The momma is polled so I hope she will be too. Born this a.m. but will get weight later. The last 2 born 2 weeks ago were a little under 2 pounds, this one looks like she is as big as them already. Was a BIG baby. Momma had a little trouble but not much, I only had to pull a little.
Oh forgot to say Nigerian dwarf goats is what they are.

Very nice! How many kids have you got so far? I'm hoping for some blue-eyed babies myself in about four months.

I think she's gonna have horns though - awfully curly hair on her head.

Yeah that'd be my luck since the daddy has horns(well scurs), this is our 3rd kid born this year & 1 more doe to go this week. 2 of the babies so far have blue eyes though.
This doe is going to lick this kid to death I think though, she just licks & licks & licks, I guess it could be worse & pay no attention at all. She's big already & seems to be nursing good, up walking around already!

As I have said before, ND's are the cutest babies ever!!!!! I had one doe born last year that could be her twin and I couldn't part with her. I gave her a Gaelic name, "Branna", which means "beauty with hair as dark as a raven". It fits her too. Congrats
