You would probably either have to run a short section of fence straight out from the barn, and the next section dropped down to the lower level, kind of like a "step" in the fence. This would likely require filling in some of the triangle formed at ground level. Or, if you don't need the full height of the fence, use a full panel and cut off and remove the "contour" of the slope, (or dig a narrow trench in the ground and set the full panel in it). I'm not sure how much of a rise you have though.
Those panels ar great, only thing we use, but they don't contour to the ground very well. I guess each type of fence has its own drawbacks.
If cutting, it is easiest done with bolt cutters.
