fencing question

We are building a goat pen using combination panels that are 16' long. We have one area where the fence is going to butt up against the barn. The problem is, the barn is higher so there is an incline..kinda steep and short. Any ideas?
Thanks!

You would probably either have to run a short section of fence straight out from the barn, and the next section dropped down to the lower level, kind of like a "step" in the fence. This would likely require filling in some of the triangle formed at ground level. Or, if you don't need the full height of the fence, use a full panel and cut off and remove the "contour" of the slope, (or dig a narrow trench in the ground and set the full panel in it). I'm not sure how much of a rise you have though.

Those panels ar great, only thing we use, but they don't contour to the ground very well. I guess each type of fence has its own drawbacks.

If cutting, it is easiest done with bolt cutters.
