Size of FF udders?

Does anyone have some pics of any FF udders late in gestation? At the risk of closing down the Photobucket site due to "graphic" goat pics.

I have 4 bred does and their udders are really starting to fill out! However, everywhere I read has a different opinion on when they are going to go. My calendar (according to the Fiasco site) says the magic date is May 5. My does' udders are getting pretty large for FF's though. Could it be that they could go early? I'm concerned they will go too early! They still have pretty small teats though....but again, they are FFs.

My little black doe is massive! And she's still got at least 2 weeks? Argh, I ache for her. I kinda hope she DOES go early, just for comfort's sake. How early is too early? Do you find some does go quite ahead of schedule?

I'll try to get some pics, but can't promise much til Sunday. Hubby's gone away til then and the goats will definitely not hold still that long. A few have taken to moving far away when they see me coming and turn their butts in the opposite direction (probably getting tired of my son and I trying to cop a feel! LOL)

Thanks for any advice!

My most recent 2 yearling FFs' udders got about the size of a big coconut about a month before kidding-teats didn't get big. My 2yo FF's got much bigger than that.

I don't think it means they will go early. She will likely be a good milker

Thanks, yes I would say she's coconut size....is that large for a mini goat though? The thing is her teats don't seem to have enlarged much though. She walks with legs way out to the side, well, how can she not? What with the belly and the udder and all.

I will HAVE to try and get some pics here to show you. I suppose that would be better than comparing to other goats.
