Milk and Safeguard

I wrote it down somewhere but now can't find it...
How long after I worm can I use the milk again?

There is no withdrawal time with Safeguard.

I use it on my does in milk for that reason. All others get ivermectin.

I'm in Ontario (Canada, not California :baby04 and we get a good hard, cold winter so we don't have the worm problems that people in warmer climates have - like you in California. You might want to get a fecal exam done after you've dewormed, just to be sure that the Safeguard was effective.

Some dewormers are safe for pregnant or lactating goats. Some don't say either way. So even though it was more I picked the package that had it printed on there. I use the postive feed dewormer from tractor supply works great!
