Help! Does anyone know what this is?

I noticed this 2 days ago on my buck's back to legs. I cleaned them with betadine & have been using MTG (mane tail groom, from TSC) It is a sulfur solution for fungus, rain rot, bug bites, scratches, hot spots, tail rubbing, dry skin, etc.
This is the same buck that in Feb. Had UC, poor guy. They don't seem to bother him. Everything else seems norma for him & also the wether with him is all normal. Any Ideas?

The picture is tiny but it looks like urine burn, a common ailment of bucks. It usually occurs on the back of the front legs and face from when they pee on their own faces/legs. If your buck has it on the back of his back legs, it's probably MUCH past time to clean out his housing. I'd keep it dry mostly, but the MTG won't hurt.

Thanks MyGoat, but how would he get pee on the back of his legs like that? We clean their pen's & houses every single day! It has been crappy weather here lately & so they are spending more time in the houses but I make sure they are cleaned & fresh straw in the a.m. & more dry straw in the afternoon to make sure they stay clean. I have never seen any thing like this before. I'll keep doing what I'm doing to see if it gets to looking better, my DH says I don't give things time to work & worry to much. Any thing else you think I should try?

Well, if he's laying in his own urine on a daily basis this is common on all surfaces that touch it - however, if you clean every day, that's probably not an issue unless you have a buck like mine who scrapes all bedding away from his bed and sleeps on the hard floor.
I would say keep an eye on it for now, watch for problems, but otherwise just see if it heals with what you're doing.

No, he doesn't scrape his bedding away, and we are pretty picky about trying to make sure everything is clean all the time, so I tend to not think it's urine burn either. I'm going to keep putting the MTG on it like the bottle says unless it starts looking worse or like it's not getting better. Then I guess I'll be at the vet's, unless someone else comes up with another solution.

Do you have more than one buck? If so, is it possible he is getting peed on by another buck...same thing happened to us and it turned out he was getting splashed by one of the other bucks...

The picture isn't good enough to get a clear view of what is going on. It does look a bit like what my buck looked like with urine scald. Of course, if it is really rough and bumpy looking, it could be mites, but I haven't seen them show up on the legs, usually ears and head with my experience, at least to start with.

If it might be mites, try putting Vicks vaporub on it. I had a doe a couple of years ago with what was probably a mite infestation on her head, and the Vicks cleared it up in short order. She'd had it for a while, so I don't think it just went away spontaneously.

Susanne, it is not really scaly but is white in color but it just looks like the color of his skin. There are some scabs where he has been rubbing though. If it's mites & I do the ivermectin inj. I have the ivermectin drench, do I need to get the injectable probly?
What was the site for the recipe with the tee tree oil in it?
I will try to post a bigger picture but as you can (can't) see I'm not real good at this picture thing.
