Vaccines - What is the difference?

Today we gave our goats their CD&T shots. I went online to get the vaccine for the next round of shots and now I'm confused. Can someone please tell me what the difference is between CD&T and CD/T?

It's the same thing. Different brands may label it differently.

Yep, just different brands.
We did a study here and we found out that if you use the Bar Vac brand, the goats are more then likely going to have a knot where you gave the shot, but if you use the Colorado Serum, they are less likely to get the knot. WHY, I have no idea. I brought it up to my vet, and he started documenting it and he said that he found the same findings. So we only use Colorado serum. That is not to say that they will NOT get one with it, just less likely.

Some CD/Tet vaccines have an irritant added to them. An area of inflammation at the injection site attracts the attention of the immune system and because of this, creates better immunity in the animal.
