I finaly got my new goat house started!!
Well, it took me quite a few more weeks to find time then I thought but at leats it's started. It is an 8' by 12' structure, 2X4 framing, 2X6 Joists, all 5/8 wafer board covering, roll asphalt roofing, 10" tin flashing to seal bottom.
STILL TBD:
-2X4 kick plates 4' high around complete interior
- 2-10 coats of paint on exterior
- mesh and plexiglass boxes for "windows"
Here is a picture of how it looks now. I'll be finishing it Friday and running fencing Saturday so that the two does and there 5 kids can enjoy the new home.
Ignore the mess PLEASE.
