Bottle feeding question

I have a doeling that I am attempting to switch over to a bottle (just started this morning) She has been nursing mom for 4 days, I have her up in the house for now, and I have been trying to give her a bottle every 2 hours or so because I can get no more then a few tablespoons in her per feeding. I know it is going to take a while for her to except a bottle fully but was wondering if I should take a syringe and force her to drink some?

Thank You for any help
Marisa

Give her time. She will accept it when she's hungry, which wont be long! LOL

A whole day of hunger won't hurt the little darlin'. I never wait less than six hours between taking a dam-raised kid from the doe and trying to bottle feed it. If its not hungry enough, its just a waste of time. Be patient and give her time to get a real hunger going.
