Can we talk separators?

DH doesn't like how thick the milk is, so I would like to investigate separators. I skim off the cream but we have been used to 1 or 2% so it is still thicker. Separators are expensive though. What should I look for? Has anyone a "NOVO" brand?
thanks Terri

I bought my cream separator thru Hoeggers. It's electric. You can adjust a little screw with an allen wrench to make the cream thicker or thinner. The milk comes out kind of like 2% milk...but I'm not sure if it can be figured out exactly WHAT percent it actually is.
Yes, it was expensive, but it will probably last forever...and then have a good resale value if you decide to stop milking your animals.
