Chapped teats?

My Boer doe (ff) is nursing twin bucklings, and her poor teats are pretty chapped to the point she doesn't want to let them nurse much. The one teat is scabbed over an area about the size of the end of your thumb.

I've separated her from the boys at night and slathered her teats with udder balm. The boys are a month old, so they're not thrilled with the bottle I tried to introduce, but I can stick with it, if need be.

Does anyone have any better ideas, or am I on the right track? TIA

My doe got chapped teats last month. I just kept slathering raw coconut oil on her and she healed.

So, you seperated the kids, what are you doing with the milk? Are you milking her and feeding them, or ? Just curious.
