Doe not wanting to be milked out

My 4th freshener doe was milking fine until last night.

All of a sudden she didn't want to be milked out .

She was so bad on the stand she kicked me so hard that it popped my elbow out of joint.

Anyway she did it again this morning. I get 64 oz out (no problems) and I am trying to milk the last bit out (about 12oz) and she goes crazy on the stand. Up to last night I would regularly milk her out to the point that there is nothing left, with no problems.

The only thing that has changed is that we let the bottle babies out with the rest of the herd to be about to learn about eating stuff other than milk (hay, grass, browse, and grain etc.). From what I've noticed they haven't been bothering the does for milk since they think it only comes from bottles.

So I'm at a loss as to why she started acting like this

Could she have an infection? Mine always acts jumpy toward the end in fact towards the end of milking this morning I pinned her up against the side and milked away.

I made a set of hobbles out of nylon strap and velcro.

Here's the ones on Fiasco Farm.

Cuts on teat? Does she run out of grain?

Sorry I didn't answer sooner guys, work got in the way.

She was much better this evening, :baby04: though I didn't get as much milk since it wasn't a full 12 hours since the last milking.

Anyway, to answer your questions:

Her temperature is fine (I checked this evening and she didn't like the thermometer much).

She actually had a full bowl of grain in front of her and wouldn't eat it.

And I examined her teats thinking the young ones may have bit her or something, but no cuts or scratches.

Like I said earlier, this evening she was her good old normal self, no problems and very business like.

Oh well I guess I can just chalk it up to her having the goat equivalent of a bad hair day.
