alfalfa pellets

Can you give free choice alfalfa pellets? I am about out of alfalfa hay and til I can get some was wondering if I could do that. Allison

Yes you can. Work them up to free choice though... It is always good to let them have access to some grass hay along with it. They need a little long stem fiber.
