Valium. And jugs of red wine. Together.

Ha ha -- just kidding. I am a wreck for the first one and get better as the season goes. Our first doe waited until 153 this year. 154? I'd be a nut case. You seem to be holding up well.

Sounds like you're going to have kids on the ground very soon.

That means it's coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gretta started that along with pushing her head against the wall and delivered about 8-9 hours later...you may have a long night ahead...I would go with the coffee...not the whiskey

Also, Gretta didn't have any goo...until the bubble. She did have the little white plug discharge a week before...that's it. I'm so excited for you!

My last one delivered on day 155. I gave up and thought she has missed the breeding and took the next time so I was getting ready to leave for a few hours and saw some discharge. Mine never have discharge unless it is time.

And by 7:"30 we had triplets!
First was a red headed boy, second was a runty girl born breech but delivered, and third was a huge pink headed girl. She looks just like her momma. They were delivered in less than 10 minutes total. May is a terrific mother. The two big ones have had colostrum and I'll go out in a bit and check the third. So exciting when it goes well!

It was dark by the time they were clean so will get photos in the morning. Thanks everybody for the advice and encouragement.

Since they were "planted" on Columbus Day, naming them after
Christopher Columbus' ships seemed appropriate, so:

Baby #1 to arrive is an 7ish pound red headed baby boy named Nino
(since Nina is feminine)

Baby #2 to arrive is a 5ish pound red headed baby girl that was born
breech and shoved out by baby #3. Her name is Pinta (which actually
means "painted one" but since it looks like pint, it seems perfect for
her little petite self!)

Baby #3 to arrive is a pink headed, 10ish pound baby girl named Santa
Maria (probably Mary for short). I read online that the Santa Maria
was the flag ship and biggest ship in Columbus' fleet so, there you go!

All are getting stronger by the hour ( they are 17 hours old about
now) and May couldn't be a better mother to them.
