Twin Doelings!

Well, my doe that was holding her tail funny had her babies today! Absolutely beautiful twin doelings! She did a good job and is being such a good mama. Liking them and stepping oh-so-carefully. One is a mahogany red chamoisee like her mama, with a white star and frosted Nubianish ears. The other is a black beauty with a white star, frosted Nubianish ears, and some tan and white on her legs.
This mama is a Nupine who is an amazing milker, and I bred her to my Nigerian Dwarf buck who is from champion milking lines (for a Nigie!).
I am so happy to have doelings from this breeding, that is exactly what I was hoping for. I feel very blessed right now. I just hope they are warm enough tonight. I may have to bring them in for the night. They have both nursed.
I will post pictures tonight. I don't have time to upload them right now.
Blessings, Jill~

That's great! I can't wait for pictures...

I bet they will be plenty warm tonight. Just make sure they have plenty of bedding and they will snuggle up with eachother close to mom.

My friend came over today to try out her new, very expensive camera on my new babies. She got some excellent shots. I took them out of the stall and the cat came over and met one of them! Such good pictures! As soon as she gives me the disc I will upload them. They are so tiny and so sweet and friendly. They actually like to be picked up.

They are funny, because they are starting to try and play and when they do a little jump their legs spaly and they fall flat, oh it is so cute, and their little heads are soooo soft, and when you hold them they nuzzle in and give kisses.

I am in love!

I will probably post the pictures late tonight!

Jill~
