Premature birth in Doe

What would cause premature birth in a doe? We've had two this week.
We keep minerals out for the goats at all times. But maybe not enough? Or not the right kind? We use sweet-liks/hi-fos and 16% cow minerals.
Thanks

I would get some tests run for Chlymidia (sp?). There is another one that will cause it also. I purchased a set of 9 does from a farm last summer, bred, one had missed (or I susupect now aborted very early) on aborted, two others kidded. Well this year I had one abort (same set of does, she blew through the kidding pens and into the area with the does to be bred) so I thought she just got bred back too early, she lost these about 2/3 of the way through I think. Then in one day I lost three, then two, got it diagnosed, medicated, and still lost more due to the kids were dead before medicated. I have had 6 does kid with not problems. I am sure it came with the does last summer, but I will never ignore even one again, because by time you get it diagnosed and medicate everyone, you can loose a lot. Not trying ot make you panic, just trying to help others not go through what I had to go through, it was about as bad as it gets.

Mine was a month early due to worms. Her baby ended up dieing. It's lungs were under developed everytime it would get cold it would start breathing hard. What you could see was under devoloped hoof. It was soft and when I used iodine just ate her hoof of basically I felt so bad. This was my first goat so I was not sure if this was normal or not. If I had to do over I would have given her colostrum(mother didn't produce) and no iodoine on the hoof. She probably would have been alive and healthy . Do you have them on a good wormer?

Appreciate the replys. I am still new here and just found out how to get back to what I had posted!! I read in a goat book about molded hay could be a cause?? But found two more this afternoon aborted. Will call the vet tomorrow. Everado has been on the truck and not had the time to do much investagating for me but will be home tomorrow. At this rate we'll not have anything left to milk!
Wouldn't the Chymidia have a discharge or some sort? I think he wormed all the goats last month. LOL...I already went into the panic mode after seeing the first one!
