Question Trimming Pygmy Hoofs

Am I supposed to trim the heel also? I get how to trim the walls but some of the internet sites say to do the heels too. The pygmy hoofs don't look like the dairy hoofs in the photos. The pygmy heels seem quite seperate from the pads but the photos look more 'all one piece'. The heels are getting much bigger than the pads but the breeder didn't mention trimming them. Any advise or websites with good photos? Thanks again for all the wonderful support!
