Just keep waiting?

Dove lost her ligaments early yesterday evening. She bagged up yesterday and udder is full and shiny. About nine last night she began breathing heavy, pawing, wide eyed, licking me, not really eating (nibbling a few times), not wanting any goats around her, etc.. She has been like that for almost 12 hours now. I haven't seen her lay down since around 10 last night and she is kind of shifting from foot to foot. A tiny bit of mucous once and haven't seen any pushing or hard contractions. This is her 2nd time, kidded buck kids last year with no problems. Should I just keep waiting?

Sounds like she is taking her time preparing. So you haven't seen any water or bloody mucous, right??

As long as she's not contracting, or there is no BIG thick string of goo hanging out, I'd wait, but I'd watch carefully because I've noticed that the ones that seem to take forever like this are often the ones going to need assistance in one form or another getting them out. If she starts contracting, or huge thick globs of fluid come out, but nothing else is happening, Id check to see if the first kid is out of position.

Thanks. No, no hard contracting or goo yet. She has been dry this whole time. I'm just having a feeling with this one that she is going to have some problems but I will give her some more time to find out. I have never had to "go in" before so hope it goes o.k. I can call her breeder who lives about 15 minutes away and she could probably come help me if I need it.
