A New Addition! (pic heavy)

My Saanen Lily had a little doeling named Rose! We thought the name was so fitting. We want to continue with flower names with all her kids! To me she is just so pretty just like a rose! Here are some pictures of her:

Sorry for so many pics. She was the first ever born goat on the farm and well you know how that goes hehehe! She's spoiled to death! We love Buck to but she is just super special! She's my favorite goat! Shhhhh don't tell Buck that hehehe!

She is precious! A rose by any other name would be just as pretty, lol, but that name sure does fit her. Especially the expression in the first pic.

She IS beautiful! I just love white goats. But I got a brown one...go figure. Well, at least she will match the mud when it comes. Congratulations on the new addition, they are wonderful pictures

She is soooo cute. I had a surprise pregnancy last year. The red mother (Nigee) delivered twins - a doe and buck. The buck is a gorgeous white with blue eyes and the sweetest disposition. I am partial to the whites/blue eyes. His sister is a blue-eyed black/tan and is a real sweetie too. I kept them both.

Thank you all! She is such a sweet heart. I had someone who wanted to buy her but just don't have the heart to give her away! She's a keeper!

A first-born is so special, and Rose is certainly special! She's a real cutie, yes she is. I like the flower name theme. (Have a Buttercup, a Lily, a Sweetpea, a Violet and a Hollyhock here myself.)

Thanks for sharing pix of your special little gal.

That is so neat! I had thought of buttercup and sweetpea to! I said we could name her sweet pea and someone said SWEET PEA! (didn't like it) So her name was not. But Rose was more perfect for her anyways!
