Off color coats and copper deficiency

I have a yr old black and white buck whose long coat is quite heavily tinged with a rust red. I have not seen any copper deficiency evidence in my other goats; the only time they look ragged is early spring growing out/growing in their new coat.
Could this reddish color just be normal or should I look at a copper problem?

You know this is a good question.

I suspect if there is an all over tinge - and not patches that it is natural - from the sun. It does it to human hair -- why not goats?

The reason I am starting to think this is that we copper bolus now and our only black (tri-color) goat is showing some rust, but more all over than before when it was just patches on her back legs. It is also not copper all the way to the skin, leading me to believe it is just sun bleaching.

I am not 100% sure on this - it's just a hunch. And she IS due to be bolused again after she kids this week...
