First Birth We Missed

We were out on a sales call yesterday and came home to triplets on the ground. What a shock! Mom showed NO signs of being ready before we left. (Other than being HUGE at 146 days)

We try to be there for all births, but are glad this doe did such a good job on her own -- and glad that we have had multiple negative CAE tests on her. The kids were nursing when I walked in.

Three bucklings. Sigh. But big and healthy. I will get photos today. Our buck throws some very distinct coloring. This makes 6 out of 6 kids so far with heavy roaning/frosting and 3 with big white color blocks.

3 more does to kid by Sunday-- I'm going to coffee up now.
